Can you package 3rd generation viral plasmids in a 4th generation packaging system?

I am looking to know if it is suitable to package 3rd generation viral plasmids (pGIII) with a 4th generation packaging system i.e GIPz/TRIPz. Any 'rules' to follow would be more than helpful with regards to viral production in such a way.
