Someone said "helpful people may be angels in disguise", while others claimed that "Moms are angels in human form". Could you please mention those angels with remarkable impact in your life, education or career? Sharing is caring. Thanks!!!
I don't see why not - although you would have to ask their permission prior to identifying them as recognisable. Individuals can have a profound influence in shaping the people we become for good or ill. You can (of course) anonymise them - so (for example) "A staff nurse I worked with made a significant difference to my practice by..."
Lesley Anne Thomson Thanks for your insightful perspective about this matter. Among others, the intents are to recognize, appreciate and celebrate our heroes and heroines whether alive or dead. Mentioning their real names is optional please. My best regards Sir.
Nurses and midwives are angels in disguise, they who make sacrifices in their care for the sick and assist women unto safe delivery of the newborn. Great Nurses, 'The Hands that Care'.
El- Stella Agoreyo Thanks for your remarkable contribution. Indeed, NURSES and MIDWIVES are real ANGELS providing life-saving services to humanity. My best regards!!!
I cannot ever thank enough about my previous supervisor for their influence on my work and my research. I have tried over time to do the same for the "young people" doing what I did myself some years ago.
Prof. Joseph C Lee Thanks for your insightful comment. Most Supervisors are helpful, caring and loving people. They tend to make us a better version of ourselves. Kudos to all selfless and kind-hearted supervisors out there. Truly, you are angels in human form. Keep touching lives...Cheers!!!
They are good angles and bad angles too. Supervisors or mothers..., are all humans. They are subjected to human errors. Good angels did not sin, and are holy creatures. Bad angels known as bad spirits or demons, live with Satan, and come to us in different forms.
Samuel Umereweneza Thanks Sir. I do engage in both qualitative and quantitative research of high calibre. Your genuine concerns are highly appreciated!!!
Kapinga Ngoyi Thanks for your sincere contribution. Most times, our parents, teachers, spiritual leaders and brethren are God-sent angels in human form impacting our lives positively. They need to be celebrated and appreciated always. Cheers!!!
Life is like a train station where we meet many people, some of whom are stuck in the memory forever and some of them are erased before the train moves... To me the most influential person was my father who was the first person to influence my personality with my mother they are the angels who influence my life... In addition to my PhD supervisor is the influential angel in my professional and academic success, without this great man and his guidance, I would not have reached where I am today.
Dr. Manal Hadi Kanaan Thanks for giving due recognition to your wonderful parents and your academic Mentor. They are worthy to be appreciated and celebrated always. Cheers!!!
I agree with Dr.Manal,we meet people sometimes planned n sometimes jst by chance few left a strong impact on us rest r forgotten thats how our brain works..
I love this question! All I know is so many times when I have been in need and opened my heart for help- in the most unusual places and circumstances sometimes, Angels have appeared to guide me through the crisis. I cannot explain help from strangers, or advice from a parent or friend -seemingly unrelated to a current discussion- any other way. God - your higher power or whatever you may be open to- provides, answers prayers, and is a wonderful mystery!
