Can you provide more details? Error 1 means that "some error occurred" and nothing else. Check whether your license is updated too.

Please check that the program IN file (which u want to simulate) and the solar spec power file (with which light beam is incident) are in same folder or not. They should be in same folder. I think this is the cause of your error.

check the light beam and wavelength value and model your license of version 2018 it's ok.sinon esseyer to simulate with the version 2014 it works and elel gives good results.

Mostly, the error is not by licence. the minimum requirement for solar cell simulation is missing.

Check your mesh input, especially the "loc" command values.

Close the program window then reopen the program and simulate again.
