Remember breastfeeding and human milk for human babies, and keeping mother and baby together are the biological norm. They should not be replaced without good evidence that the alternative being suggested is lower risk than continuing to breastfeed and be together. It is usually a higher risk to health and wellbeing to use alternative feeding and separation of baby and mother.
