I am wondering how to manage this pathogen, day by day pathogen creating havoc in the field. Soybean production reduced drastically in India because of this pathogen in the soybean growing belts of India.

Pankaj Kumar Mishra, I think you are on a very good track. I have attached the adaptation of work by Dr. Varma directed on Piriforospora indica, This can helpful as a mycorrhiza fungus candidate for stimulating the adaptive reaction of soybean to reduce charcoal rot. This will be envisioned working by both the host stimulation and antibiosis. The candidate needs to be tested in both media and in soybean in greenhouse and field. You might want to look at the candidate probiotic and antibiotic mycorrhizal being combined with organic amendments and other candidates to test for integrated synergistic reactions. A combination might be more appropriate in relation to this issue. Take a well planned experimental approach to test your hypotheses. Another good candidate for biocontrol would be either Trichoderma harzianum 382 and/or Bacillus subtilus strains which are antagonist to charcoal rot fungus. Because humic materials stimulate the soybean host and help water relations they might be very useful. Good luck on your studies.
Integrated pest management methods, utilizing a number of different control strategies in combination, are required to effectively control this disease. Many of these control strategies for charcoal rot of soybeans are outlined in the attached link. Adding biocontrol method(s) should be considered as only one possible control to add to your comprehensive disease management program.

Also in grain warehouse it is easy to recover because your prevalence is highest and easy for diseminacion. On field infestations is often found associated with other plant pathogens mainly Fusarium. I sent another material that we hope to publish soon on the physicochemical and biological parameters asociates to presence of Macrophomina on the sorghum fields located on the northeast border of Mexico and the United States.
