Dear Nilesh, a sand bath is a common piece of laboratory equipment made from a container filled with heated sand. It can be used to provide heating for another container. Therefore, high temperature solution phase annealing is possible by sand bath. The attached pdf will provide you more confidence.

Once you dry or anneal them, then they're no longer free, discrete, independent nanoparticles. You'll have an aggregated mass of sub- and post-micron material.
