What is the difference between steel strand (grade 270) and steel reinf (grade 60)
couldn't be used to avoid sudden failure because the second one is ductile material

In 1989 I tried this to use high strength steel as non-prestressed steel in flexural member which I tested up to failure.
The result were very big values for crack width and deflection.
It is no recommended to use.
