in order to calculate the electrical efficiency of a given PV module (photovoltaic module) can we use halogen lights as a source of energy for electricity generation? if yes, then what care we must take while performing the experiment (like the distance between module and light source, the duration for which we can expose the module etc.)?
Generally the answer is yes, but to use it with confidence one should take care about several things:
(1) The solar cell (relative) spectral response should be known.
(2) The solar irradiation spectra should be estimated
(3) The halogen lamp (relative) spectral radiance should be known
(4) The halogen lamp working conditions (power source) should be kept constant
(5) The geometry of experiment should be used for efficacy calculation together with other data.
The key connection parameter is calculation of the spectral irradiation at the PV solar module sensitive area.

You can made the Sun Simulator ( instead of sun radiation). you can made it by using the big number of small lights by fixed on bored oriented to your PV penal, where the number of lights available good light distribution over the PV panel .
Certainly there are a special type of light giving a high lux and that mean high solar intensity, o it must be measuring the light intensity by light intensity meter or solar intensity meter (1W/M2 =127 Lux).
- the small light with good light intensity can by selected from internet .
- select your lights bulb AC or DC it dos not mater, but select with ability to change the light intensity by change the voltage applied by employing DC power supply (for DC light) or by employing variac (for AC power supply).
