Using ENDANGERED species for research purposes. I think you will have to get a lot of documentation done before proceeding for your research. The idea of your research is great and I felicitate you for that, but, I am afraid, the scientific community and the government may raise many difficulties and questions in your path.

If you have the confidence to defend yourself, please go ahead by ensuring everyone that the species won't be harmed in any way during your research and that your research can bring out many novel knowledge about the same.

Most important ethical principle to follow for research' do no harm'

Endangered species for research purpose; they are already endangered, and it is most likely possibility that species could be extinct.

If research could be only observational, where harm can be eliminated, than it is supported; otherwise difficult to support.

We can use endangered species only if we propagate them in in-vitro condition and then use the same as raw material for further studies.

You have to follow strict ethical guidelines.
