Can we use artificial intelligence to automate meshing in FEA? The resulting program should be able to identify holes and create washers, simply the geometry create connections automatically, achieve the desired mesh quality and also perform mesh connectivity checks among other things. Is it possible?
Advanced FE software systems do use AI techniques already in creating automatic meshing. However, this is still in the nascent stage.
