Your question cannot be answered straightforwardly, it all depends on what you want. It is all a matter of definition. First of all, there is distinction between biosurfactant and bioemulsifier, see for example:

Furthermore, using for example, the Emulsification index E24 requires comparison between various compounds to get a proper idea about the emulsifying properties of your biosurfactant, see for example:

So, I think your point needs to be part of a thorough characterization of your biosurfactant and as indicated in above paper be compared with a commercial surfactant and/or another (closely related) well-characterized biosurfactant.
