I am presently working on crystal plasticity deformation simulations using ABAQUS and UMAT Subrotinue for super duplex stainless steel material 1.4410.
I m little confused in using 1 user subrotinue program for both phases of material (Austenite and Ferrite).
I modeled the grain micro structure of the material with 2 different phases in ABAQUS and assigned different material conditions, USER MATERIAL constants and also DEPVAR individually for both the phases in material section.
Now i imported the User SUBROTINUE program written in FORTRAN
For better understanding for what i have implemented in modeling please find attached images of material properties and the grain microstructural model to this question.
Please correct me if i am in the wrong path and suggest me to reach my goal.

I think the real task is how to identify phases in UMAT. If you know how to do so, it's just the matter of coding.

The code which i am implementing is generalized one.
It does not has any particular details of the phases it has only the linear equations which are possible to solve the deformation data by taking all the input parameters given in ABAQUS material property definition.
Ravva, Without sharing information about your CP code, it is hard to get help. If it is a general CP model, please send the link with your question.
Let us assume it is a Taylor type CP code, then it requires the inputs regarding the crystals ( orientations, slip systems, etc). you identify different materials by identifying different element groups with each group has its own material properties that will direct towards the data needed for the CP model. For example, in your second figure, you wrote that you are using EBSD data that assign orientation to the FEM mesh. How are you doing that? how do you take Euler angles from EBSD and inform you CPFEM?

Thank you for your response, and the CP model which i was using for deformation analysis was the basic code written by WU and Basani in FORTRAN and clear explanation of it is appended to this response in the below link as a PDF,
Regarding my 2nd picture and the clarification about it is,
I had prepared my sample ready for EBSD analysis in SEM,
Now i had implemented EBSD analysis through Aztech software which is also expert in exporting all my data into a .ctf file
By using the HKL channel 5 software it is possible to attain all the orientations Eular angles phase boundaries, grain boundaries and also possible to post process them by importing the .ctf file acquired from Aztech software.
By extracting Euler angles in an Excel sheet and by implementing a code in matlab i converted the euler angles (phi1, phi, and phi2) to a coordinate system.
Now all the coordinate axis for every particular grain what i have were implemented on to the model which i have created in ABAQUS.
