As many historians have pointed out from Keegan to Clausewitz, often this clash reverts to war. War, as a kind of "diplomacy by other means" is, sadly, quite often necessary to fuel demand economies. Any economic milieu like physical systems, abhor vacuums and seek equilibrium. War, like the venerable Colt 45, is the "Great Equalizer".

The ex-military advisor, Fletcher Prouty explained it well in his book, "JFK". But he is not the first to cite the thinking of international financial interests -- the social Darwinists power brokers-- as the prime movers in international economic flux. Their non-partisan, not nationalist actions are as inevitable as biologic evolution, slow and often imperceptible but relentless and implacable.

Fortunately, (a) international collaboration (econ. sanctions ala Korea & Cuba) and (2) non-global war (limited war ala Korean & Vietnam) can accelerate the achievement of equilibria while at the same time accelerating the velocity of goods/services exchange (measured by currency fluctuations) which we know as "prosperity".

Sadly for many individuals, it results in "scheduled" destruction and death.

Thus, the former should be promoted and the latter should be limited.

Ah you are right Mr. Douglas Larin that human nature had always been resisting to change. This is the problem of human kind as well as solution of the problem if we welcome change keeping in view the hard core realities and unchallengable facts.

As social microcosms expand, they impinge on the resources (economies) of other social microcosms. Feudalistic resolutions involve war, while socialistic resolutions involve negotiation. In either case, the result is unification and a merger of the two economies. In other words, the clashes are inevitable, and so are the mergers.

If one accepts yours proposal, the (common) people and armies will know the real cause of wars and that for whom they are at war people like them. Then, why will people fight for few people who want to make money out of the war for not general populace but for themselves.

I think this a basic right of public to know the facts and is the responsibility of scholars to bring the facts in the notice of the public for the betterment of humanity across the oceans..

This is because the discriminating economic powers first start victimization by their attack on the education system. With their strong influence in print and electronic media they propagate lies to an extent that the victims themselves invite their murderess for their social, judicial, economical as well as physical murder. I have only hope from the scholars who understand the problems and analyse them purely on merit without any biases. Here I will not recommend the education system of 1950s which in fact gave great economic strength instead of the present one where EURO, Pound, and Yuan are posing as big threats for the world`s economy. However, I wish the 1950s spirit be revived which did not have urge to rule or dictate the world like a monarch.; and where few minds were not exploiting the entire world just for the profit gains; and when humanity was still alive though taking last breaths.

I would suggest that to reduce the influence of establishment news media on ourselves, we have to seek out sources that are not main stream and compare the information over time.

Back in the 1950s, my philosophy professor recommended reading the Nation Magazine and The New Republic. Both were long-established, respected, and not compromised news sources. They still exist as newspapers and as websites.

Since then, many others have sprung up.

One anecdote: During the 1960s, the main stream (even sometimes called "liberal") press, for example the Los Angeles Times, frequently reported or had editorials or cartoons that depicted Fidel Castro as being paranoid - claiming that the USA was trying to murder him - which the main street felt was laughable. We would never do such a thing! Then, many years later (~20 years), it was finally revealed that the Kennedy Administration kept trying to get Mafia hoodlums to assassinate Castro. However you look such an act, the attempts that were made were amateurish, were bungled, and were comical, because neither the USA, nor the Mafia had had any prior experience in such matters as political assassination .

The point is: do not limit your news sources to the main stream, nor to even any single stream. Look for consistency, motivation, verification before accepting what you receive from the various news media.

By the way, this was not the only case that revealed to me that the main stream news media was withholding or distorting information. Most of their news is probably OK, but if it is important to you to know the whole truth, cross check with other sources.

Dear Antonio, Unfortunately I have nothing in my pocket to contradict with your comments. I agree with you that this is very common all over the world that so called liberal media always don't reveal the facts because it is controlled either through regulatory policies or through the Media owner `s self imposed policies. Unfortunately greater investment on spicy news ensures more readership and circulation and ultimately more profit for the organization and benefits for the employees, On the other hand the straightforward and ethical media unfortunately do not attract greater readership and circulation and earns less profit. Consequently truth fails to reach masses on large scale as compared to the spicy media. Today the truth and lies are not those which happen in reality, but are those which are defined by the super powers through the media. You have quoted the proposed murder of Castro which remained just an allegation at least upto 20 years and the honest peoples would have been defending themselves and negating the hue and cry of the Castro`s camp or the truth believers. There are hundreds of numerous examples wherein the world leaders had been lying and nullifying the facts with full satanic trust and confidence. For example it has been revealed by the western media after many decades that the Roosevelt administration knew that the Japanese were planning to attack Pearl Harbour , but they (Japanese) were allowed to attack on PH to justify the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Most recently, the world scale media campaign about WMDs in Iraq, has been proved wrong by those who prepared this false report just to attack Iraq where millions of innocent adults and kids were killed. Soon you will find the secret as who did the 9/11 attack though the US scholars, professors and intelligentsia have already revealed the truth to which no body is heeding because their truth is not projected by the mainstream media. I do believe like you that most of the news on this media is correct and matters to the common public, yet there are some vital issues where this media either remains silent or gives a version that murders the truth. At the same time it is the duty of scholar peoples to analyse the news and find the truth being above from all sort of bondings such as racial, religious, geographical, ethnic etc to promote greater peace, love and respect among the nations and to make this world as heaven. This is because we the human share one parent Adam and Eve, we have rights on each other and being super creature this is our obligation to put our share to ensure peace and prosperity across the globe. We should nullify the idea of clash of civilizations wish in fact represent racial depart among the humanity and just supports those who are controlling the puppets to gain more profit. I believe majority of the peoples in the East and West as well as North and South is innocent, honest and peace loving.

Please let me allow to modify it a little bit that the violence and today`s wars are due to the lust for grasping more and more leading to a monopolistic situation where one assumes a dictating position enabling him to decide the fates of humanity just like Lord.
