Dear researchers, As you know from the linear degree of polarization at 90-degree, one can find out the resonance modes:

PL(90)=I90-I0/I90+I0=|a1|^2-|b1|^2/|a1|^2+|b1|^2

where a1 and b1 are the electric and magnetic dipole according to Mie's theory. In the same sense, can we relate the circular degree of polarization to the scattering modes? Similarly, can we also relate the phase shift (delta) and polarization angle (phi) between the orthogonal components of E-field to the scattering resonance modes?

Thanks
