Why can't we devise experiments which will answer the clinical question directly and decisively? In medical research, we have to find that a particular drug/treatment can cure the disease in question or not. The experiments should answer this question as "YES" or "NO". As a medical scientist, I feel that it's our primary duty to transfer important medical knowledge from laboratory to clinic as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary morbidity and mortality, rather than involved in statistical values.
I want to say that results from our experiments should clearly establish a straight 'Yes' or 'No' answer to a given problem, at least in medical research, to accelerate transition of useful information from laboratory to clinic. We need to say that our drug/treatment cure or not cure the disease in question. Why we can't apply this approach ?
Think of the legal system. The defendant is found guilty or not guilty based on the balance of evidence - at least in the Western system.
If you have a solid evidence, you should not feared about legal system. The highest judge is our conscious mind, which says that we should not harm the patient, either publishing inadequate research or withholding important information which can save lives.

Statistics is debatable issue , some scientists say statistics may be conceal the facts in medical research and scientific in spite of,we confess the importance of statistics as a tool to accelerate the empirical bases discovery,but it is frank mistake to assume that is sufficient to reach the consistency which scientific discipline give us in coplementarity.At all event this is scientific and epistemic problem.

Epidemiological reasoning is divided into two distinct stages.Stage one(statistical inference) searches for a statistical association between the exposure and disease .Stage two(causal inference involves the derivation of biological meaning.Statistical methods can not establish proof of a causal relationship in an association.The causal significance of an association is a matter of judgement which goes beyond any statement of statistical probability .
I want to make it simple. Can we say, without large statistical work, that a particular drug or treatment cure the disease in concern ?
