i would like to rephrase my question, as to have more discussion and ideas: if one can say one of the media role is to present a real diversity of opinions that covers the full spectrum of voices. In this context, can we oppose war journalism to peace journalism?
Sure, in theory we could, but the question is if anyone would care to watch it. For the most part media is in the entertainment business today, it exists to sell advertising, and talking about peace (aka status quo) isn't interesting to most people. Instead it's the things that break the status quo that get people to watch the news, such as war, crime, scandal, etc. I have noticed that local news especially and sometimes national news here in the US will conclude with a "local interest" type story that tends to be upbeat and positive.
