Can We Convert the Likert data to Time-Series data or Indexed based data??

Yes it is possible to convert the likert data into dichotomous data (yes/no, 1/2) in SPSS. But doing it devoid of a valid reason may extensively compromise the quality of the data, and generalizability of the inferences.
