This is one way in tackling the problem and the need for a progressive social evolution. But it'snot sufficient. As far as studies are concerned I must say that they refer to Instruction and not Education. You can find uneducated people among highly instructed people.
When I analyse the question posted I assume the change in society for the better implies social consciousness and due action. So, in short, you need to apply instruction (studies) for a pro-active change in society ; if not studies can turn you into reactionary agents.
of course, youth can be educated against corruption in any society. The youth is regarded as the pillar of any society because it is the most active segment of any society. Any nation that does not respect its youth does not deserve its future.it is good to let the youth know the evil effect and negative impact of corruption on the society because the youth is the leader of tomorrow. When they are well informed about the consequences of corruption, then the need to combat it becomes imperative to them.

Avoiding corruption one aspect of thr question posted. Can we change the society? I will say with Obama: "yes we can". But I'm not with the saying " Do what I say, do not do what I do". This brings us in terms with the EXAMPLE one has to give so as to better the future. Studies will certainly help, but are not sufficient. On the other hand, corruption is one aspect of a sick society. But what to say when wars are waged? What to say about the endogenic exploration that underlie the economic and social politics that dominate our society?
So, if we want to discuss the issue throughly, we must be open minded and start first analysing the genesis of the system that dominates our lives, and not only its consequences such as corruption.

Thanks for your inte rvention, however I'm at odds to catch the extensive meaning of "That´s old". What's old? Teaching, as you well know is an all round State activity. One cannot individualize the teachers. It's up to the society to generate adequate institutions for the purpose of education. In democratic societies it's upto the elected governments to organize the institutiinal network. The teachers, who ever they are must only fulfill the objectives. The education process starts with this iniciative.
Your third expression "One cannot leave geodesic" seems to me incomplete. I would modestly beg you to complete the idea that you want to transmit.

The question "Can we change the society by educating the youth and students?" was popular in the Age of Enlightment, 18th century. That's old.
Usual difficulty with changing the society by education is the education of teachers. The old teachers cannot teach new ways.

Geodesic is the shortest curve between points in the local metrics. Translating from the math language the sentence means approximately: The evolution of the society is gradual and dictated by all variety of processes in that society.
