Can we change some terminologies to test and compare interfaces, when testing three types? Is there any model or standard of comparison?

Three types interfaces contain textual, audio and visual information. If we want to re-order some fields but keeping intact all field: would this change the nature of the work? Do the users have to perform the same task in all interfaces? What's the preferred comparison model or evaluation criteria to analyze the results?

There are a lot of models, such as Normans model, TAM, D&M, TSSL, Cognitive Walkthrough and so forth...

The matter is not the model, I think its the reasons beyond that...
