My question is about the case that the temperature in solvothermal condition is below the boiling point of the solvent. I know the different priorities of each process but mostly I believe the differences in pressure could be converted into the controlled temperature due to many P-T relations. If it's possible, what should equations or formula be applied to calculate precisely the condition? There are some successful researches of using this converted method in synthesizing MOF. (zinc- or copper-centered)

My point is that during the reaction process, the pressure inside the autoclave is much different from the atmospheric pressure at start, which makes the advantage of this technique. Precisely, I want to calculate approximately the condition of converting "that inside pressure" in hydrothermal to the actual adding temperature in refluxing process (still below the solvent's boiling point). By doing maths relation to find the compatible condition (shorter range of T), probably we can reduce the time to verify the system behaves well and focus strongly on the main work.
