You have to clarify your PL to be Emission or Excitation PL? The later can provide some relevant information to absorption, which is however measured in a different way from general absorption spectra.

i have emission PL spectra.

Try to measure excitation PL, then you would be able to understand the energy structure of your thin film.

I have that one also. I measured excitation as well as emission PL spectra. I don't know the difference between these two spectra as I am.new in this field. Please guide me how to calculate absorbance from Excitation spectra.

Please describe how you measured PL Em, Ex spectra respectively. Then I suggest something that was associated with the way to estimate or calculate absorption from PL Em and Ex spec.

Otherwise, any suggestion could be pointless.
