i see this peak in all samples in synthesis of polymer. I got IR FeCl3.6H2O and I compared with SDBS.
1-what's peak 1400 cm-1 in FeCl3.6H2O in FT-IR?
2- Why the intensity of the peak in my sample is high?
3-Is there this possibility Because of washing sample with low water (30 ml) content I see this peak in the my product?
4-Do u have IR FeCl3.6H2O in KBr? SDBS is in nugel.

The two spectra look very similar but it is difficult to compare the intensities when the baselines are so different. Is it possible that Br replaces the Cl if the IR is done in KBr?
