in an ongoing pregnancy im concerned taht we are giving a drug that may affect the fetus

You can successfully use tranexamic acid in early stages of pregnancy, before 34 weeks to stop episodes of moderate bleeding and it can be used in the process of Caesarian section to achive better hemostatatic effect.
