Two perspectices have to merged for the study of wo-man:
---natural science of humans
---human science of nature.
My approach is a natural science of the human society (and culture),
this can also include physico-or natural theology.
Human biology is a necessary and vital part of this body of knowledge, but not sufficient to understand the evolutionary conversion of natural history into cultural history via social history, i.e. a human without ethical culture equals the animal world, where only bio-logical rules apply, in terms of selection pressure and response of the living organism. Biology can very well explain the lower nature of the human species, which is still a very strong force in human society.
Mystics do not agree fully, where to put the dividing interface between a human and an animal into the living body; my personal view of this distinction is that the dividing line can be drawn somewhere under the heart, above the gut.
