In such a "doctrinal context" refers to what is written before the citation. Henri de Lubac makes in "Catholicisme" a distinction between true membership of the "corps" and spiritual adherence to the "verbe". (I know that there are two editions of this book: one from 1938 and a later one about 1962. Beside this I do know very little about the book and Henri de Lubac's work.) Where is, according to your interpretation, the difference between true membership of the body and spiritual adherence to the verb?
