Yes they have good absorbent properties of metals pollutants in water but it gets tired very quickly.

Yes the composite you mentioned is very useful and effective for metal adsorption. But the desorption capacity for the same is not that effective as I did work on the mentioned composites. Hence we came up with new bio-composite membranes to treat wastewater. You can refer a patent if its useful for you.
