Upananda, in addition to the need for entrepreneurs to develop survival characteristics especially when they operate/run SMEs, it is also important that they develop resilience qualities both in the short and longer term if their businesses are to survive. In addition, it is fundamental for entrepreneurs to develop entrepreneurial acumen/capability which helps not only in understanding the context, culture and socio-demographic dynamics of their business environments and clients but also enhances potential increase in performance indicators within what is generally a highly competitive market.
