Entrepreneurship is opportunity based concept? However, export entrepreneurship could be different from the general entrepreneurship since it is out of the context.
True, entrepreneurship is an opportunity based concept & so is export entrepreneurship. While entrepreneurship in general is based on identifying opportunities & setting up or undertaking a venture to exploit that opportunity, export entrepreneurship is based on the ability to identify, create & take advantage of opportunities existing in international / global markets. The importance of export entrepreneurship has risen sharply in recent years with the opening up of economies by most of the countries. The benefits include growth in forex reserves, better balance of trade, growth of domestic industry, reduced risk due to diversification of markets & customers, international exposure, increased employment, income, etc..
Actually the difference between "Export Entrepreneurship" and "General Entrepreneurship" is related to the difference between "GNP" and "GDP". General Entrepreneurship causes to increase the Gross Domestic Production while the Export Entrepreneurship causes to increase the Gross National Production.
Export entrepreneurship sounds as though it's related to the "born global" concept, which overlaps with the international entrepreneurship literature. A born-global company is a business that is international in scope from when it was founded. If you're interested in these areas, here are some seminal articles (Knight & Cavusgil are very influential in the "born global" literature; Oviatt and McDougall are similarly influential in international entrepreneurship):

I would call International Entrepreneurship instead of Export Entrepreneurship, as per my understanding it is the area of study which is at the intersection of disciplines. International Entrepreneurship emerged from the parent disciplines of international business and entrepreneurship.

Compared to general entrepreneurship, in export entrepreneurship, there can be many constraints and external forces which are beyond the control of the entrepreneur. Especially, influence of macroeconomic factors and the economic stability may be critical
