The supercapacitor shows high capacitance values in the lower frequency region i.e. in 0.1 to few 100 Hz, however, capacitance decay is observed by large extent with increasing frequency of charging of capacitor.

In high frequency regime, the diffuse-EDL response coupled with electrode morphology can be observed. It has lower value of capacitance. The maximum capacitance can be observed in lower frequency regime. To understand the influence of various physical parameters on EIS response of supercapacitors, see J.
