Medical Hypotheses is a journal for explaining personal theories, I'm trying to publish in it, but it requires that I inform them about some reviewer's contacts: Apparently the address and contact of possible reviewers (people that I do not know and who do not belong to my institution).
Could someone tell me if all journal require to give the name, address of reviewers or only Medical Hypotheses requires that?
And could someone tell me how to obtain such a list of possible reviewers.
After an answer to a mail I sent to them: They explained me that reviewers permits to create reviews about the sent publication after what these reviews are used to decide if the publication will be rejected or not.
They also told me that we can choose people from cited references from our publication.
Yes, this is often practice nowadays. Journal can use your suggestions or not. Usually if it does, one of the reviewer is picked from the list of suggestions. If you wrote a paper you probably know who is working in your field of interest. Choose such a person. Suggesting any reviewer does not quarantee you a publication, it is a quality of your manuscript.
