Hi all,
I have a dataset with about 20 features (numeric) in each record.
I want to calculate the correlation between all these 20 features and export the results to MATLAB. I am now using Excel which is time consuming. Are there any readily available software packages or tools that I can use for getting correlation results. I am using Pearson's correlation coefficients.

You can read/write .xls files with MATLAB. Why are you trying to "export the results to MATLAB" rather than calculate the correlations using MATLAB?

I don't understand why you are not using MATLAB to calculate Pearson's correlation coefficient:
A = rand(20,20);
C = corrcoef(A);
imagesc(C)
caxis([-1 1])
colorbar
If you don't have MATLAB, try Octave or SciLab, which is very similar and free.

Use the curve fitting app with the command cftool on MATLAB. It had a very robust Person´s correlation coefficient results. But, if you want another way to give statistical confiability you need to implement the equations of correlation by yourself (like
Spearman's rank, Kendall tau, Cohen kappa or Goodman gamma).
SPSS is a good option if you nhave the distribution. It is a datasheet like program that implement statistical analysis.

Dear All, Thank you very much for your answers. I was using Excel as it was available on all of my computers. Now due to increasing demands, I needed more than Excel and from now I will use MATLAB.
