Happy new year...
I got in trouble, I model a beam in ABAQUS(2D) under a compressive load (N/mm2) at the top edge.
I want to plot load displacement curve, thus I need tow parameters
1) force in one nod
2) displacement in that nod
from the history output I can plot displacement in that nod , but about the force I can not.
How can I plot the value of force in any nods?
When I plot the force for nods in the XY data, that was show me the zero value!!!
please help me as much as you can

Hello,
you can check reaction force in field output request for particular node.
You can also combine the force and displacement plot..
go to tool.... create xy data then... operate on xy data..

Yes..you can plot reaction force vs displacement...
Depending upon your problem requirement , you can get reaction force easily for selected node...
