I saw few publications with excellent presentation of data, which was analyzed using SPSS 20 and higher versions. I need help from expert user of SPSS software for analysis of data. They may send their email ID or contact me by private message
when I learnt SPSS I bought a book titled SPSS analysis without anguish, it was good, but no doubt many more editions since that time, just an idea I don't know if it will answer your specific query
I learnt SPSS for many years, I think SPSS is maybe the most easy statistical software to learn. For my experience, I think a textbook is needed and then make the most use of the "help" document which SPSS provided. I also recommend use R, which is very efficiency for the case study and R code usually can found from the Internet.
I have learned a little to use SPSS, R and SAS. Yeah it is true that for SPSS we need a textbook but for R the vignette provided with packages are good enough to understand.
