I am starting Questionnaire based research on the the topic ""Stress level comparison of Medical and Non-Medical Students" so I need help because I have no previous experience of questionnaire based research.

The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-14) by Sheldon Cohen and co.(1994) is one of the most frequently used questionnaire to assess stress related thoughts and feelings.
It consists of 14 items which asks respondents to reflect on situations during the previous 1 months and how much stress they perceived. Free versions of the questionnaire are easily available online.
Although there exists a great deal of evidence for the validity and usefulness of the scale, I personally found it to have very poor effect size in my research
The measure we developed thirty years ago has been used in several studies around the world. The Perceived Stress in Medical Scale. It only has 13 items and good reliability and validity. Hope this helps.

IF someone research on comparison of nonmedical means other than Medical students like in an engineering university which include different departments like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering etc so the same procedure means PSS-10 ,and PSS-14 etc use.
