Research was carried out on the static tensile testing machine, which records only the loading force and displacement. I know the time needed to carry out the test, but while analyzing data I found that time is not linear with the measured displacement of the sample. Does anyone know how to connect the time with displacement?

Actually it depends on the control type on which you are conducting experiments. There are three possible ways of doing tensile testing. If your doing strain control testing then only there may be possibility that you get linear graph of strain vs time otherwise you will not get linear relation between the two. You should consider the three modes of control while conducting tensile test, choice of which is basically dependent on type of material and also the region you are interested.

By displacement you mean just the ram displacement or you are using strain gauge? When you record just the ram displacement, on the begining you have several times measured 0 stress and some value of the ram displacement due the "freedom" of the clutching fixture.
