Just ran into your question, and thought an article I wrote a few years ago might be of some interest. I have used these and other techniques, sometimes not calling them hypnotic, in very simple forms and it is quite effective. I use it primarily for students to enhance recall (memory), gain focus, and reduce anxiety. I hope to have a project started soon using the simple knowledge of these techniques.
