We have used an antibody against Lmx1A made in rabbit to label our floor plate cells (precursors to nigral dopaminergic neurons) from Millipore #AB10533) successfully now for years. Since about 8 months we are not able to get staining with this antibody anymore (although the cells stain for Foxa2, another marker for these cells). In fact the antibody seems to stain some cytoplasmic organelle (Golgi, lysosomes?) very specifically in a subset of cells. Has anybody else had problems with the Millipore rabbit anti-Lmx1A antibody within the last 8-12 months?
