Can sodium carbonate be used as a vehicle for intraperitoneal drug delivery in mice?

My drug is seen to be soluble in ethanol, DMSO and sodium carbonate. Since, DMSO cannot be used as drug vehicle, I am thinking of using sodium carbonate.
