If different results are obtained for the analysis of same phytochemical qualitatively, how do you justify that? Is it good to follow different tests for confirmation of same phytochemical rather than performing single test?
Yes, this occurs sometimes due to improper practice, variable conditions and apparatus used. So take different replication minimum five-time and find average results. If the standard deviation is too high then you are doing anything wrong. Best of luck
Undoubtedly, such a thing is possible. Because there are many reasons in the shaping up and genesis of the secondary metabolites in the same plants despite of the same organs, and such cases have been abundantly proven in the numerous published reports.
It is possible in such case one should repeat the process for final confirmation .
