Multiple qualitative methods were used to collect data for a PhD degree work. I would like to know if the findings can be presented as two separate chapters instead of one divided into sections. What would inform such a decision?
I agree with Sarwar J. Minar in that one generally has one chapter, even for a mixed method approach - some of my students findings chapter were over 100 pages, but still used one chapter. However, one can always break convention if you have strong motivation for doing so!
It seems this matters has been settled by informed answers of eminent scholars. Is there someone out there with other technicalities implicit in tyr suggestions advanced?
