I wanted to study the vasculature of mice after tumor cells injection. So I need a good antibody that reacts with mice by staining its blood vessels. Can anyone help?
Hello there. Blood vessels are made up of endothelial cells, so why don't you try tomoto lectin? Please find its description as attached for your reference.
As Nurul said, you have to look at the endothelial cells. So you should use an anti-CD34 or an anti-CD31. I'm using the anti-CD34 of DAKO that is pretty good on IHC but it's an anti-human. I don't know about anti-mouse and it also depend on the technique you want use I guess...
Yes, I want to use it for IHC, I already try anti-CD31 but it didn´t work on mice! I know that there is some other clones that my stain mouse vessels... I will also check if the anti-CD34 from dako my result on mouse...
Hello there again. Now that you mentioned CD31, I remembered a paper (as attached) that compared the findings between anti-CD31 and tomato lectin as endothelial marker. The paper reported that tomato lectin gave better results compared to anti-CD31. Maybe you can read up on that paper since you mentioned anti-CD31 also didn't work in your experiments. All the best!

For the ones who may have some interest the antibody I found to work better in paraffin-embedded sections to detect mice vessels - CD31 antibody (ab28364) from Abcam.
Hi, I am also interested in using IHC to detect endothelial cells in the mouse brain. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I use CD31 antibody, tomatto lectin, or some other markers like anti-claudin-5, anti-occludin, CD34? Thanks~
