I have come across news that a new clinical trial is enrolling patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms to assess the effect of nitric oxide in treating the virus (read here:
https://neurosciencenews.com/coronavirus-nitric-oxide-16134/) However, apparently bottled NO is expensive, in short supply in clinic practice, inconvenient to use and difficult to obtain. Could plasma help to generate NO supply needed? I'm interested to collaborate in plasma chemistry modelling for this kind of research.

Some experiments in using plasma in many countries have succeeded in relieving symptoms in the affected person, but I think according to the patient’s condition and immunity with Covid-19
Technically the NO is not one of the main contribution of plasma therapy which is just the prodrome of specific immuneglobulin treatment. However, the hypothesis cannot be scintifically rejected.
