Dear all, I am working on the spray drying of fruit juice concentrate. I want to fix the outlet air temperature to 70±5°C. Is this feasible as I read in many papers that the outlet air temperature varies with the inlet air temperature and feed rate? If yes, how can I do this? Will fixed outlet temperature affect responses like bulk density, hygroscopicity, and solubility? How can I measure this effect? We have a laboratory-scale co-current spray dryer available in our lab.
