I have a situation where I am exploring the structure of a questionnaire with 10 questions/items. For this I am using PCA, and I have checked that all the assumptions are met.

The results show that there are two components with eigenvalues greater than 1. This is also confirmed by the scree plot. Looking at the loadings of each item on both components I see that there is a question that equally loads on both components (.458 for component 1 and .413 for component 2). I used the Oblimin as my main rotation method to interpret the findings. However, I have used all the other rotation methods and I keep getting the same result. What do you think could be done here? Should this question/item be removed?
