For a 1D cavity, the reflection at the interfaces flips the handedness of CP from right to left and vice versa. So there is no way a 1D can hold a CP mode. But imagine if we have a 3D cavity where non-normal incidence is possible, Is there a way to realize CP modes (both left and right) in this case?
