I'm reading a paper about ADCC. The authors used rat antibodies to coat tumor cells. But the NK cells they used were from mice. Can murine FcR recognize rat antibody Fc ends? I don't know. Could someone explain it?
Yes, absolutely, that is why we use Fc block in FACS staining. anti mouse CD16/32 binds the mouse FcR tighter than rat IgGs, but you get background if you don't use it because rat IgG binds mouse FcR
Depends how different the immuno globulin is between species. certain mouse Ig isotypes ones can be recognised by human fc receptors, so its entirley plausible
