Hello. I am just a master's degree student so have a simple question.

When conducting a survey analysis with programs like PLS-SEM,

can I suggest a mediator variable that was constructed as 2nd order construct(HOC)?

So the model in the first image is possible?

I know a moderator can be a 2nd order construct (in the second image), but not sure in the case of a mediator.
