Almost all publications use same formula to determine the total anthocyanin content. As you know, generally molar extinction coefficient of cyanidin-3-glucoside is 29600 in this formula. Differently, can i use calibration curve of cyanidin-3-glucoside or different anthocyanin standard to determine this.
Yes, you can, you just have to indicate what you made your calibration curve with and that you are using that curve to determine the concentration of your sample.

Thanks everyone for answers. Also dear Chinaza Godswill Awuchi i read first publication long time ago but i couldn't download second. Actually, main problem in my mind; since the same formula (absxMWxDFx103/Ɛx1) is used in spectrophotometric total anthocyanin studies, molar extinction coefficient is always the same (29600 for cya-3-glu). But laboratory conditions (chemicals purity, balance calibration etc) are not the same in every study, so this coefficient can change from experiment to experiment. For these reasons, do you think it is correct to use the same formula. Otherwise, is it make more reasonable to draw a calibration curve.
No, molar extinction coefficient in my reseraches is different. Because I perform total anthocyanin assay using cyanidin 3-glucoside as a standard directly in 96-well plate so pathlenght value (1 cm in cuvette) also different.
