Dear colleagues,

I am currently investigating intracellular calcium levels in conditioned and untreated cells for my research. Specifically, I intend to use the Fluo-4 AM calcium-sensitive dye to measure end-point calcium levels. I would like to inquire whether the BD FACSCalibur Flow Cytometer is suitable for this application, particularly for detecting calcium levels using Fluo-4 AM.

Has anyone utilized this instrument for calcium detection in their studies? If so, I would greatly appreciate any insights, advice, or protocols you might have regarding its use in this context. Additionally, if there are any considerations or optimizations that should be taken into account when using the FACSCalibur for calcium measurements, I would be grateful for your recommendations.

Thanks in advance
