Can i use miRNeasy serum/plasma spike in control qPCR normalization kit (QIAGEN) for my EC sample obtained from HUVEC ?

I intend to see miR expression in Endothelial cells from HUVEC. I have some remaining miRNeasy serum/plasma spike in control cel-39-3p from another experiment. I am thinking to use it as qPCR normalization kit for my EC sample. Will it be valid for cellular sample?
